Pikes Peak Mycological Society
Promoting better understanding of mycology in Southern Colorado
Club foray this weekend! We will meet as a group on Saturday at 10:30am. Where we are going is a bit of a drive, so some people might want to camp overnight. Keep an eye on your email for foray details!
We are postponing tomorrow’s foray (Friday, 6/14) because all this lovely moisture we’ve been getting has come to a screeching halt.
We want you to know that we don’t make this decision lightly.
Brian Barzee, James Chelin and Jennifer Bell have been scouting all over southern Colorado this week. The season will continue to be one of the best we’ve seen in a long time—but nothing is popping currently. The mycelium is waiting for its moment…which will be soon.
So pour yourself a glass of wine, read the new Sporeaddict edition, study the Vera book & save some energy for when the next flush begins.
Pikes Peak Mycological Society is going out for a foray this Sunday, 5/26.
We will meet at 8:30 AM.
Meeting location is TBA. Keep an eye on your email for updated info on where to meet.
