Members-Only Mushroom Forays
One of the most exciting benefits of membership is access to our members-only mushroom forays during the season. These outings give members the opportunity to explore productive mushroom habitats throughout Southern Colorado while learning directly from experienced foragers and identifiers.
Foray locations are chosen based on weather, rainfall, elevation, and seasonal mushroom activity. Depending on conditions, members may visit forests, mountain terrain, or other promising habitats in search of the region’s fascinating fungi.
Forays are a fun and valuable way to build identification skills, gain real-world experience, and connect with others who share your enthusiasm for mushrooms.
